That’s a great Question – Review

Book Reviews No Comments

Ravi Zacharias says of this book, “Helpful for anyone confronting tough questions about Christianity and the Bible.” Ravi is right on the money.

That's a great QuestionWhat this book does is equip believers with the tools necessary to analyze criticisms that are constantly being railed toward Christianity. Pearson first presents what the “unfiltered” Jesus portrayed in the Bible actually looks like. He then presents and explains the filters through which those that read the Bible interpret the Bible. He covers “filters that add”, such as the filter of new revelation and the filter of outlandish speculation. He then covers “filters that subtract”, such as athiesim, antisupernaturalism and selective Christian theology.

With each of the filters, Pearson provides examples of how these filters are applied, and how to detect when the filters are being applied.
