Chosen by God – Review

Book Reviews No Comments

Chosen by GodIn this book, Sproul sets forth the Reformed doctrine of unconditional election – the beloved and more often maligned “U” in the acrostic T.U.L.I.P.. For those not familiar with Reformed Theology (or the “five points of Calvinism”), I would first suggest reading Sproul’s work, “What is Reformed Theology? Understanding the Basics“. For those that are familiar with this doctrine, or a caricature of this doctrine, this is a great read.

A lot of believers come down hard either in favor or in opposition to unconditional election. Whether you affirm this doctrine, repudiate this doctrine, or are unsure where you stand on this doctrine, you need to read this book. Sproul is a master teacher and solid theologian, and can help anyone understand these Reformed doctrines and what the biblical basis is for the doctrines.
